What is a color?

• 1 color = 10 yards (~9 meters)
• Each additional color adds more depth

Leadcore depth chart (approx)

• 1 color: 1.5–3 m
• 2 colors: 3–5 m
• 3 colors: 5–7 m
• 5 colors: 8–12 m
• 7 colors: 12–16 m
• 10 colors: 15–22 m

What affects depth

• Speed – faster = shallower
• Lure type – crankbaits dive deeper than spoons
• Leader length – longer leader = slightly deeper
• Line drag – thicker line reduces depth
